MISSIONFEST 2019
This year the focus will be divided between 2 projects:

Food Security in Democratic Republic of Congo

CBCA Bible Institute work in Kindu, Shabunda and Bunia
Farming households in this region struggle to meet their food needs year round for many reasons. CBM is responding by providing quality seed and other materials as well as training. We will be working in partnership with Canadian Foodgrains Bank, which makes this project eligible for fund matching from the government of Canada at a ration of 3:1 - which means every $1 raised will be worth $4!
CBCA is committed to sharing the gospel message in communities across their country. Through the Bible Institute, missionaries are being trained to serve in Kindu, Shabunda and Bunia. Funds will support training workshops as well as resources to be added to their library at the institute.
Our goal for 2019 is to raise $35,000 in support of these two great works. All funds raised through our Missionfest celebration will be split 70/30 - 70% towards the food security in DRC, and 30% towards Bible Institute in Kindu, Shabunda and Bunia.
